Boston Market – International Children’s Day

June 1, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

The Market will be celebrating international Children’s Day on the 1st of June. Traditionally, Children’s day is a day to celebrate children by giving them a small gift or taking them on a day out. Boston’s Market is a perfect opportunity for this as there will be free activities such as a circus skills workshop, street entertainment, free arts and crafts and free face painting!

No market town is complete without the hustle and bustle of it’s market day, and Boston hosts traders from across the region each Wednesday and Saturday. Traditional market goods of fresh fruit, vegetables and meats are on offer, together with contemporary clothing, electronics and arts  & crafts. To apply for a stall please fill out the Markets Policy and Application Form

A stall can be made available on the market every Saturday for use by charities and local organisations. This can be used to sell products to raise money for the charity, or to raise awareness. Charities and organisations are permitted one free charity stall per year. To apply for a charity stall please follow the link and complete the Charity Market Stall Application .

Once you have completed your application form, please send it to markets@boston.gov.uk or by post to Boston Borough Council, Municipal Buildings, West Street, PE21 8QR.
