Know someone who could do with getting out of the house more? Or a friend whose social circle is not what it used to be? Or someone new to your community? Bring them along to a Community Cuppa event to find out more about what’s going on in the local area.

The Community Cuppa sessions are designed to build connections between people in the Woodville Road area of Boston, helping tackle loneliness and social isolation.

“Being new to the area this event has meant I can find out more about groups and activities that are nearby,” said a Community Cuppa participant. “It’s been really enjoyable, I’ve chatted to a number of groups and am now thinking about becoming a volunteer with a local group.”

The Community Cuppa scheme is being run by charity Community Lincs and Lincolnshire Co-op.

Organisers of the Community Cuppa events are also looking for small local groups to join in and attend the events so they can tell local people more about what they offer – and hopefully get more participants involved.
