‘Aladdin’ (2019) Live Action Adaptation
Based on the 1992 animated film, this musical fantasy film brings to life the story of Aladdin, a street urchin who meets Princess Jasmine, the beautiful daughter of the sultan of Agrabah. While visiting her exotic palace, Aladdin stumbles upon a magic oil lamp that unleashes a powerful, wisecracking, larger-than-life genie. As Aladdin and the genie start to become friends, they must soon embark on a dangerous mission to stop the evil sorcerer Jafar from overthrowing young Jasmine’s kingdom.
Early bird tickets are available at a discounted rate until 23:59 on Saturday11th September when the general sale tickets will become available. Tickets are available to buy though Eventbrite up to the day of the screening, subject to availability. Please be aware that tickets must be purchased before the event and will not be available on the gate.
Gates will open at 6:45pm, film to start around 7:30pm. The evening will conclude around 10pm.
Conditions of entry
Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. Children 18 months and under are able to attend for free. You may be required to prove your concession status upon entry, failure to do so will result in additional payment being requested . Please ensure you purchase the right tickets for your party when booking.
Seating is not provided so please bring a blanket or chairs if you do not wish to sit on the grass.
You are welcome to bring a picnic, snacks, food, etc. Refreshments will be available to purchase at the event including cold and hot food, teas and coffees, soft drinks and a bar. Please only bring soft drinks as we are unable to permit alcohol unless purchased at the event.
Bag and body searches may be carried out at the entrance. This is the only entry point into the outdoor cinema event, please be patient.
Recommended parking for the event is on Bargate Green PE21 6RU or Cattle Market PE21 6RX, from 6pm these pay and display car parks fees are £1 for the full duration of the evening. Other car parks are also located nearby.
We are hoping for a dry evening, and the screening will go ahead whatever the weather so please come prepared. In the unlikely event of severe bad weather/high winds the event may be postponed. We will use Social Media and contact attendees directly through text messages on the number provided at the time of booking should the event be cancelled.
Please be aware that tickets are not refundable unless the event is cancelled.
No smoking is permitted within the event space and pets are to be left at home.
We ask that should you have any symptoms of Covid that you do not attend. Please remain at home and make arrangements to have a PCR Covid Test and follow the Government and NHS guidance.
Additional hand washing facilities and toilets are on site for your convenience and we ask that social distancing is maintained where possible and that everyone is respectful of each other at all times during the event.
