Boston Beach Event

Join us for a summer beach celebration in Central Park!

The beach is back and will stay for the duration of the school break. Anyone can use the beach for free during the park's opening hours. This is a great way to spend some quality time with friends and family while the children play, all without leaving Boston town.

The popular beach area is offering a host of activities for all ages, most of which are free:

• Wednesday 19th July - Teddy Bears Picnic, 12pm-2pm. A session for pre-school children only. Bring your picnic and enjoy fun games, story time, and play on the beach. Free event.

• Friday 28^th July - Sand Sculpting, 10.30am-3pm. Sand Sculpting with World Gold Medallist Sandcastle Builder and TV presenter Nicola Wood. Free event.

• Wednesday 2^nd August - Fairy Door Hunt, 10am-3pm. The fairies will return to Central Park, but we need your help to find all their doors. £2 per hunt - tickets will be on sale soon, check back for updates.

• Saturday 5^th August - Performer & Circus, 11am-3pm. Performer in the Market Place with a Mobile Circus Workshop. Free event.

• Tuesday 8th August - Pirate Treasure Hunt, 10am-3pm. Some pirates have lost their treasure in Central Park - can you help them find it? £2 per hunt - tickets will be on sale soon, check back for updates.
• Thursday 10^th August - Golden Oldies, 2pm-4pm. Sing-along for over 50s and those living with dementia. Come along and enjoy singing with Boston's Singing for Fun Group. There will be games on the beach or just come and listen and watch. Free event.

• Thursday 17^th & Friday 18^th August - Family Fun Days, 10am-3pm. Bring your lunch and stay all day on the beach. There will be a magician, donkey rides, giant tortoises, bouncy castles, fun sports, face painting, arts and crafts, and on the 18^th only there will be reptiles too! Free event.

• Thursday 24^th August - Fun in the Sun, 1pm-3pm. A free session for those living with additional support needs. Come along and have fun on the beach, play games, build sandcastles and listen or dance to the music. Free event.
